Hi! My name's Emily, and I created this blog to provide a venue to share the things that I've learned and the person that I've become through the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am constantly awed by the goodness of God through my life experiences, scripture studies, and things I read or hear. And I love to share my thoughts with others in hopes that they will be uplifted and strengthened as well. I believe that God loves us and is constantly showing us this truth through the world around us. So please join me in this journey to find joy in the gospel of Jesus Christ and make it alive and applicable to living in our world today.

I am a Pennsylvania girl at heart. 31 years young. I am the girl next door that just so happens to be a Mormon. I love spending time in nature, cuddling with my dogs (and hubby), reading good books, and spending time with the youth. I always get mistaken for a young woman, and I'm okay with that. I love fashion, hair, nails, makeup, and all things girly. And most of all, I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! It has changed me for the better and continues to help me improve day-by-day. I first really discovered my love for the scriptures on my mission to Oakland/San Francisco and continue to study daily to find the applicable gems that really make me smile.
